A technique is useful.
Knowing why this one comes first

Training introduces models and methods. Session planning asks a different question: what deserves attention today, and how does it connect to the work so far?

THE PRIORITY

Several threads.
One session.

When several concerns arrive together, a clear hierarchy helps organise the discussion around an agreed target.

THE RATIONALE

A full toolkit.
A choice to make.

Choosing a worksheet is easier to explain when the formulation makes clear what the work is intended to address.

THE STRUCTURE

A plan that can
leave room.

A session needs direction and space for new information. The guide connects both, including when to change course.

What practitioners think of the collection

“The distinction between a target and an intervention is the part I would return to. It gives the session plan a much clearer starting point.”

Emily Carter

“Clear layout. The questions beside the examples make the guide easy to follow.”

James W.

“The guide is focused and easy to revisit. No need to reread the whole thing to find one framework. TKS!!”

Charlotte Reed

“A useful distinction between following a structure and following a script.”

Oliver Bennett

GREAT BUNDLE!!! I LOVE IT 😍😍

Daniel Brooks

“Thoughtfully organised. The separate A4 and Letter files are a practical detail.”

Grace Turner

“The material keeps coming back to the reason for choosing a target. That is what I wanted to explore, beyond adding another worksheet to a folder.”

Henry Collins

“The workbook collection is easy to navigate. I would still choose individual pages carefully for each person, rather than work through everything in order.”

Lucy Parker

“The section on changing course makes room for new information without losing the original purpose of the session.”

Amelia Foster

“I like having the guide and video together. I would watch a section first, then use the slides to revisit the questions at my own pace.”

Isabelle C.

“The overall sequence makes sense: formulate, choose a target, plan the session and review. I would use the workbook pages selectively alongside that process.”

FAQs. Before you begin

Clear information about the contents, intended use and workbook licence.

What exactly is included?

The From Theory to Session guide with 44 slides across five modules, the companion video course, and the Evergreen Therapy Collection. The collection contains five printable workbooks with 89 workbook pages, plus a six-page Start Here guide, supplied in A4 and US Letter.

Who is this resource intended for?

Therapists and qualified practitioners looking for a structured reference for professional learning and session preparation. Practitioners early in their careers should use it within their scope of practice and alongside appropriate supervision.

Does it teach complete CBT, DBT or IFS protocols?

No. It explores the reasoning that connects formulation, target selection, session structure and feedback, with examples across CBT, DBT and IFS. It is not comprehensive training or certification in these models.

Is this a physical product?

No. The collection is digital. Devices, printed pages and desk items shown in the images illustrate how the resources can be viewed or used; they are not included.

Can I print the workbooks for use with clients?

Yes. The workbook licence permits a single practitioner to print and use pages with their own clients, students or groups. Sharing, redistributing or reselling the digital files is not included. See the licence in the Start Here guide for the full terms.

Do I need to complete everything in order?

The five guide modules follow a sequence, but each can also be revisited on its own. The workbooks are separate resources: select pages according to the purpose of the work and your professional judgement.

Does this include clinical supervision or accreditation?

No. This is an educational resource. It does not include clinical supervision, individual consultation, a professional qualification or continuing education credits.
